Ben Cooper- The Halloween Hero

Ben Cooper, Inc was the champion of Halloween costumes from the 1930s-1960s. They usually came in a box or bag and included a cheap plastic mask and a thin silkscreened fabric shirt. The company began making traditional Halloween characters and monsters, but quickly grew to acquire licenses for dozens of popular TV shows and movies including Hanna-Barbera, Star Trek, Star Wars, Disney and more. These costumes usually sold between one to two dollars, but a certain illusive Spider-Man mask has been valued at $10,000 today!
